What is Meta Appetite Control?

No, it is not necessary. Each of these fiber supplements contain psyllium husk, the ingredient that provides all of these benefits. Choose only one product, and please consult the label of the one you are using for the correct dose size and frequency.
Also, if you are currently using Metamucil MultiHealth Fiber, it is unnecessary to switch to Meta Appetite Control or add it to your diet. You are already getting the appetite control benefit from the psyllium husk in Metamucil MultiHealth Fiber as well as the other health benefits listed above as long as you follow the correct dosing.
How does Meta Appetite Control help me feel less hungry between meals?
Meta Appetite Control, when taken with 8 or more ounces of liquid with meals or added to a smoothie, helps you feel less hungry between meals.* This is because the Meta psyllium fiber thickens and forms a gel in your digestive system, slowing absorption and digestion, which aids in the sensation of fullness.

What is maltodextrin?
The maltodextrin in Meta Appetite Control is a carbohydrate derived from cornstarch. It is used to improve texture and aid in mixing.

I’ve just started taking Meta Appetite Control and I feel a little bloated. Is this normal?
Yes. You may initially experience changes in bowel habits or minor bloating as your body adjusts to increased fiber intake. This generally will subside as the body adjusts. We recommend that you start with 1 serving per day; gradually increase to desired daily intake. It's also important to remember to drink plenty of water when you are taking any fiber supplement or any high-fiber product.
